What does your fee include?

The fees we quote over the phone include the doctor’s fee, the anesthesia fee, the hospital charges and the cost of implants. Dr. Faibisoff’s consultations are complimentary. A pre-operative physical examination by our certified Physican Assistant is also complimentary. Most importantly, all of your post-operative follow-up visits are included in the fee quoted.

Pre-operative chest X-ray, EKG, and certain lab work may be necessary depending on your health and/or age, and costs for these tests are the patient’s responsibility. Lab work may be covered by insurance.

What happens during the consultation?

You will have an appointment with Dr. Faibisoff and his nurse, Tammy. Dr. Faibisoff will discuss your procedure in great detail, including a review of all the risks and potential complications. He wants you to be 100% educated on your procedure so you will not have any misconceptions and can make an informed decision. He will also perform a physical examination to make sure the procedure is appropriate for you. Dr. Faibisoff will answer all your questions and take as much time as needed to address your individual needs and your specific goals.

Where will my surgery be performed?

Since 1991, Dr. Faibisoff has been operating at the Havasu Regional Medical Center, which is conveniently located two blocks down the street from his office. The outpatient surgical department has proven time and time again to be outstanding in dealing with our patients’ needs.

Can I schedule my surgery the same week as my consultation?

Yes. Many of our patients do not live in the local area. We can schedule your procedure the same week as your consultation.

Do you do financing?

We can refer you to several financing companies experienced in dealing with plastic surgery patients. Should you need their phone numbers or e-mail addresses don’t hesitate to contact our office. The financing process is usually pain-free and simple. We do require payment in full one week prior to your surgery.

Is Dr. Faibisoff board certified?

Yes. Dr. Faibisoff is certified in plastic surgery by the American Board of Surgical Specialties, and also by the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada. He has over 25 years of experience in plastic and reconstructive surgery. He attends numerous educational courses each year to keep updated on the latest cosmetic procedures.

Do I have to replace my implants every ten years?

Replacement is necessary only if the implants develop a problem. Dr. Faibisoff recommends that every patient with implants come back to the office once a year to have the implants checked. This takes only 15 minutes of your time. He will visit with you and perform a physical exam to check for capsular contracture, sensitivity deficits, or any other issues that may arise, and will answer any questions you may have about your breasts and your implants. We encourage you to spend the 15 minutes a year for your peace of mind.

How do I choose my implant size?

We cannot quote a cup size, but we try to identify the image you are seeking at your consultation. We will ask you to bring a fitted sports bra and tank tops or tee shirts to the visit. Sizers are placed in your sports bra to mimic as much as possible the potential change in your figure.
